Middle names and significance

What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

As I got baptised with a Nepalese community in the north of England last March. I am now looking forward to being confirmed with a new community that I love and whilst committing to do this I found out that I can obtain a confirmation name and use it within my own name

So excited about this as my current middle name is Jane and for me (if you know me yes very plain and not appropriate for me).

A dear friend looked at me whilst discussing this and said that Cecily or Cecelia would suit me – so this was researched by myself and also I love the name but was also moved by the writing s of Saint Cecelia

So, I am now Alison Cecelia Bramwell and in the process of changing my name through Deed poll and it is a relatively easy process

So, yes to me middle names are hugely important and it also affirms my faith as it is that closeness to my faith and some lovely individuals around me that have got me through many dark times and difficult circumstances

Do you like your name? Does it reflect you? A thought for a moment.

Blessings

Alison Cecelia Bramwell
